Apple Fritters is an easy to make nutritious snack. Apple pieces are dipped in maida and fried in oil.

Apple is a wonderful fruit packed with rich phyto-nutrients that in the true sense, indispensable for optimal health. Certain antioxidants in apple have several health promoting and disease prevention properties, and thereby, truly justifying the adage, “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”.

The health benefits of apple include improved digestion, prevention of stomach disorders, gallstones, constipation, liver disorders, anemia, diabetes, heart disease, rheumatism, eye disorders, a variety of cancers, and gout. It also helps in improving weakness and provides relief from dysentery.

Ingredients

  • Apples - 2 nos
  • All purpose flour - 150 gm
  • Sugar - 3 tbsp
  • Cinnamon powder - 1 tsp
  • Baking powder - a pinch
  • Water - 5 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil - 200 ml ( for frying )

Method

Step 1

Clean and peel the skin of apple. Cut into rings.

Step 2

Take a bowl and add flour, sugar, cinnamon powder and baking powder with 5 tbsp of water and make a batter.

Step 3

Now dip each apple pieces in the batter.

Step 4

Heat the vegetable oil in a pan. Deep fry the apple pieces in the hot oil. Switch off the flame. Drain oil in a paper towel.

Step 5

Hot & Tasty apple fritters is ready to be served. Enjoy!!!
