Milk Pudding Passion Fruit Topping

Milk Pudding with Passion Fruit Topping is an easy to prepare dessert with very few ingredients.

Passion fruit is a very refreshing tropical-fruit full of phyto-nutrients such as carotenes, vitamin A and vitamin C. It is rich in antioxidants and fiber. Passion fruit is an intriguing and mysterious fruit that has a surprising number of health and medicinal benefits. It helps to prevent Cancer, Asthma, heart related problems, blood pressure etc.

Ingredients

  • Milk - 500 ml
  • Cornflour - 3 tbsp
  • Sugar - 4 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
  • Passion fruit - 1 no

Method

Step 1

Take a bowl and add 100 ml of milk, cornflour and mix well.

Step 2

Heat a pan and bring the remaining milk to boil.

Step 3

Reduce the flame and whisk in the cornflour mixture into the milk.

Step 4

Simmer for 10 minutes or until the mixture thickens. Stir sugar and vanilla essence into it.

Step 5

Pour pudding into the cups and cover the top of each cup with a plastic wrap.

Step 6

Refrigerate for atleast 2 hours or until set.

Step 7

Cut passion fruits into half and scoop out the pulp. Pour passion fruit pulp on the top of pudding.

Step 8

Tasty Milk Pudding with Passion Fruit Topping is ready.
