Naaval Pazham Juice is very yummy and nutritious juice. It is very easy to make and really good for your health.

Naaval pazham or Black plum is a nutiritious seasonal fruit found in Asia. Jamun is a delicious tropical plum-like fruit which is rich in vitamins and minerals and it has so many medicinal properties. It has unique colour and taste is sweet and tangy.

As compared to other fruits, it is loaded with nutrients essential for good health and is very less in calorie which makes it a perfect choice of healthy diet. The fruit is said to be good for diabetics and also for purification of blood.

Ingredients

  • Naaval pazham / Black jamun - 10 nos
  • Sugar - 3 tbsp
  • Chilled water - 200ml
  • Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
  • Ice cubes - 3 nos
  • For Decoration : - Lemon - 1/2 piece
  • Sugar - 2 tsp

Method

Step 1

Wash and remove the flesh from the seeds of the fruit using a knife.

Step 2

Grind the flesh along with 3 tbsp of sugar in a mixer. Then add water and lemon juice into it and grind for 4 minutes.

Step 3

Then strain the juice using the juice strainer.

Step 4

At the time of serving, wet the rim of the glass with lime. Scatter the sugar on a plate and dip the rim in the sugar, so that the sugar will get coated on the rim of glass.

Step 5

Now pour the Naaval Pazham juice into the glass and add ice cubes into it. Serve immediately.

Step 6

Tasty Naaval Pazham juice is ready.
