Orange French Toast is prepared by soaking bread in an orange-infused milk and egg mixture and cooked until golden colour. It is a simple, quick and delicious evening snack that everyone will love. Tryout this yummy French toast at home.

Ingredients

  • Bread Slices - 4 nos
  • Egg - 1 no
  • Milk - 1/3 cup
  • Fresh Orange Juice - 5 tbsp
  • Butter - 3 tbsp
  • Sugar - 4 tbsp
  • Orange Zest - 1 orange

Method

Step 1

In a small bowl, whisk together egg, sugar, milk, orange juice and orange zest. Pour it into a plate.

Step 2

Soak each slice of bread in milk mixture for 30 seconds per side.

Step 3

Heat a pan and melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Once melted, fry the soaked slices for 2 minutes per side, until golden colour. Melt another tablespoon of butter after frying 2 slices. Switch off the flame.

Step 4

Yummy Orange French Toast is ready.

Step 5

Serve warm, sprinkled with sugar.
