Orange Radish Salad is a wonderful combination of fruits and raw vegetables. Eat salads to cut calories and maintain health. It is a simple and healthy salad that can be easily prepared within minutes at home.

Orange is an excellent source of vitamin C. They are also a very good source of dietary fiber. In addition, oranges are a good source of B vitamins including vitamin B1, pantothenic acid and folate as well as vitamin A, calcium, copper and potassium.

Radishs are also low in digestible carbohydrates, high in roughage and contain a lot of water, making radishes a very good dietary option for those who are determined to lose weight. Folate, fiber, riboflavin, and potassium, as well as good amounts of copper, vitamin B6, magnesium, manganese, and calcium are less prominent nutrients that support the healthy properties of radishes.

Ingredients

  • Orange - 2 nos ( peeled and sliced )
  • Radish / മുള്ളങ്കി - 1 no ( sliced )
  • Olive oil - 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Orange zest - 1 tsp
  • Orange juice - 1 tbsp
  • Mint leaves - 2 small sprigs
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Peel the oranges and cut them into thin slices. Grate outer peel of an orange and take 1 tsp of orange zest.

Step 2

Clean and thinly slice the radishes using a knife.

Step 3

To prepare salad dressing, take a glass jar and add olive oil, vinegar, orange juice, black pepper powder, orange zest, salt and mix well.

Step 4

Assemble the orange and radish on a plate. Pour the salad dressing over radishes and orange.

Step 5

Tasty Orange Radish Salad is ready.
