Vellarikka pachadi is a dish of Kerala Cusine. Goes well with Rice. Moreover it is served as a traditional dish for Sadya.

- Vellarikka -2 cup
- Green Chilli - 5 nos
- Cumin Seed -- 1/2 tsp
- Mustard Seed -1 tsp
- Coconut Oil -2 tsp
- Grated Coconut -1 cup
- Curd - 1 cup
- Dried Red Chilli - 4 nos
- Curry Leaves - 2 spring
- Water - 1 cup
- Salt to taste.
Take a pan and add chopped vellarikka, boiled water, green chilly and salt and cook for 5 minutes.
Grind coconut, mustard and cumin seed together to make a fine paste.
Add this mixture to cooked vellarikka and heat 2 minutes.
Add Yogurt and heat.
Using a pan heat some coconut oil and mustard seed,red chilly and curry leaves add this to the vellarikka curry .
Dish is ready to be served.
