Ingredients
Clean the Chakka Chula ( the edible yellow part of Jackfruit ) and remove the seeds.
Slice the Chakka Chula into long narrow strips. Take a bowl and mix turmeric powder and salt in water and keep it aside. Heat coconut oil in a thick bottomed pan. Add sliced Chakka Chula in hot coconut oil and fry till it turns crispy. Reduce the flame and sprinkle mixture of turmeric powder and salt water over this and mix well. Remove it from the oil when the bubbles subsides. Spread it on paper tissue so that the tissue will absorb the extra oil. Tasty Chakka varuthathu is ready.Method
