Ingredients
Clean and soak the rice in water for 10 minutes and drain the water. Take a pressure cooker then add 2 cup of water and boil for 5 minutes. Add 1 cup of raw rice, salt and mix well. Cook it for about 10 minutes and keep aside to cool. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal and peanuts then fry till it becomes crisp. Add dry red chilly, green chilly, curry leaves and cook for 2 minutes. Add cooked rice, turmeric powder and asafoetida then mix well. Now add the lemon juice and salt to the rice then combine well.
