Ingredients
Wash and soak the Basmati rice in water for about 15 minutes. Drain the excess water from rice.
Grind pudina, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger and garlic to a fine paste. Keep aside. Heat vegetable oil in a pan then add cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom, bay leaf and fennel seeds. Fry for 2 minutes. Add chopped onion and fry till it become transparent. Add grinded paste, salt and stir fry for 3 minutes. Add rice to this mixture and mix well.
Add four cup of water and stir well using a spoon. Close the pan with a lid and cook for 15 minutes on a medium flame. After 15 minutes switch off the flame. When it is cooled, open the lid then add lemon juice and mix well. Tasty Pudina Rice is ready. Garnish with few fresh pudina leaves. Method
