Oats is a very good source of fiber, especially Beta-glucan and are high in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Whole oats are the only source of a unique group of antioxidants called Avenanthramides, believed to have protective effects against heart disease. Due to their beneficial health effects, such as lowering blood sugar and cholesterol levels, oats have gained considerable interest as a health food

Egg white contain high-quality protein, riboflavin and selenium. The majority of egg’s nutrient package is found in the yolk. Eggs are one of the only foods that naturally contain vitamin D.

  • Oats - 100 gm
  • Egg - 2 nos
  • Onion - 1 no ( chopped )
  • Green chilly - 2 no ( chopped )
  • Capsicum - 1/2 piece ( chopped )
  • Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Milk - 4 tsp
  • Pepper powder - a pinch
  • Coconut oil - 4 tsp
  • Salt to taste


Step 1

Take a bowl and add oats, beaten eggs, red chilly powder, chopped green chilly, chopped onion, chopped tomato, milk, pepper powder, chopped capsicum and salt. Mix well with a spoon.

Step 2

Heat coconut oil in a pan. Pour the omelette mix into it and let it cook for 5 minutes on a low flame until the base is cooked.

Step 3

Flip the omelette and let it cook for another few minutes. Switch off the flame.

Step 4

Tasty Oats Omelette is ready.
