Ingredients
Heat a pan and roast oats till oats gets hot. Keep aside. Clean and chop the carrots, beans and green chillies. Heat coconut oil in a pan then add mustard seeds. Once the mustard seeds splutter add urad dal and fry until they turn into golden brown. Now add the curry leaves and chopped green chillies and fry for a minute. Then add chopped onions and fry until the onions starts transparent. Add chopped carrots, chopped ginger, chopped beans and cook in a medium flame for 4 minutes. Add the oats, salt and mix well for a minute. Add 1/4 cup of water then mix well and cover for 2 minutes in a low flame. Open the pan and sprinkle the remaining water then mix well. Cook for another 3 minutes. Add lemon juice to the Oats Upma and mix well. Add the chopped coriander leaves. Heat a pan then add ghee and fry the cashew nuts, Garnish with coriander leaves and fried cashew nuts. Tasty oats upma is ready.Method
