Freshly boiled Potatoes smashed and dipped in creamy white sauce. Try this lovely recipe for a family get together or a Kiddie Party..or anytime you like to make it…

Ingredients

  • Potatoes boiled and smashed - 2 big
  • Salt to taste.
  • To prepare white sauce:
  • All purpose flour or Maida - 5 big spoon - mixed well in 1/4 cup water
  • Unsalted butter - 2 tbspn
  • Milk - 1/4 cup
  • Veg stock - 1 small dissolved in 1/4 cup water.

Method

Step 1

Boil the Potato adding enough water and salt. Keep aside. To make the smashed Potatoes spicy you can add white pepper powder also.

Step 2

Heat pan and add butter. Once butter is melted, add Flour mixed in water, vegetable stock mixed in water, salt to taste and bring to boil. Then add milk by constantly stirring until the sauce thickens smoothly.

Step 3

Switch of the flame. White sauce is ready.

Step 4

Plate your smashed potato with white sauce as a well in center.
