Tiny Zucchini Pizza Recipe – Veg Healthy Starter Recipe
Presenting a vegetarian starter for Iftar or any parties. No frying or no baking required. You can make supper fast, while the dish will be a variety on your servings table.
Talking about nutrition benefits of Zucchini it prevents certain types of cancer, lower cholesterol, protect against diabetes, lower the risk of cardiovascular disease, help in weight loss efforts, boost eye health, build strong bones, improve energy levels and circulation, and increase the health and responsiveness of the immune system.
- Zucchini - 3 nos (cut into round shape of 1/2 inch thickness)
- Mozzarella cheese - grated 1/4 cup
- Tomato - 1 finely chopped
- Onion - 1 finely chopped
- Green chilli - 2 nos (cut into thin round shapes)
- Red chilli flakes - 1 tbsp (Optional)
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp
Rub olive oil on a hot flat pan.
Grill one side of zucchini pieces by placing in hot pan.
When one side is done flip over and put some cheese on grilled side of zucchini and cook untill the cheese melts. Top with tomatoes, onion, green chilli or chilli flakes as per taste.
The tiny zucchini pizza is ready to serve as a starter. Healthy & tasty starter with full of goodness!
