Dates Biscuit Roll is a very quick and tasty sweet. This is a perfect snack for Ramadan.
Dates are very high in fiber and cholesterol free fruit. They are also rich in anti-oxidants and good source of beta-carotene. Dates also act as laxative and are rich in vitamin B complex. They are an excellent source of minerals like iron, calcium, manganese, potassium.
Try this yummy and simple sweet at your home.
- Marie biscuit - 1 packet
- Ripe dates - 300 gm
- Sugar - 1 cup ( 100 gm )
- Butter - 125 gm
Remove the seed from dates. Chop the dates into small pieces.
Break the biscuit into small pieces.
Heat butter in a pan and add sugar to the melted butter. Heat it for 3 minutes on a low flame.
Add dates into it and stir for 5 minutes. Add biscuits and mix them well. Keep mixing on low flame and combine well. Switch off the flame.
Take a plastic paper and put the date’s mixture into it and make cylindrical shapes. Refrigerate it for about 25 minutes.
Remove from the fridge and keep it outside for 5 minutes. Use a sharp knife and cut into round shape.
Tasty Dates Biscuit Roll is ready.
