Banana Custard Recipe – Simple & Delicious Custard Recipe
Banana Custard is a type of traditional pudding made from banana slices mixed with custard. It is an amazing dessert to binge on when you’re craving for something sweet. Apart from being incredibly delicious, this custard recipe is healthy as well as it has the goodness of bananas in it. The ingredients are simple and easily available in your kitchen.
Custard is a variety of culinary preparations based on a cooked mixture of milk or cream and egg yolk. Depending on how much egg or thickener is used, custard may vary in consistency from a thin pouring sauce to a thick pastry cream.
Banana is a heavyweight when it comes to nutrition. It is loaded with essential vitamins and minerals such as potassium, calcium, manganese, magnesium, iron, folate, niacin, riboflavin and B6. Banana is loaded with fiber, both soluble and insoluble. High fiber foods are said to be good for the heart.

- Ripe banana (Robusta) - 2 nos
- Custard powder - 15 gm
- Milk - 150 ml
- Sugar - 50 gm
- Vanilla extract - 2 drops
- Cashew nuts - 10 nos (chopped)
- Almonds - 1 nos (chopped)
Peel off bananas and cut into small cubes.
Mix the custard powder and sugar with 2 tbsp of milk.
Take a bowl and add the remaining milk and boil for 5 minutes.
Once the milk starts to boil, add the custard mixture and cook on low flame till the custard turns thick. Then add banana cubes and vanilla extract into it.
Remove from the heat and allow it to cool.
Take a glass and add custard banana mix and garnish it with chopped almonds and cashews. Keep it in refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Tasty Banana Custard is ready.
