Chicken Wings Bajji Recipe – ചിക്കൻ വിങ്ങ്സ് ബജി
Chicken Wings Bajji is an easy and tasty snack. Make this quick and yummy starter at home with limited ingredients. It is a special Malabar snack, you can serve this as an Iftar, Nombuthura Dish for Ramadan.
Chicken wings are marinated with lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, pepper powder and salt. Chicken wings are dipped in a batter and deep fried until crispy and golden brown.

Ingredients
- Chicken wings - 6 nos
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- Lime juice - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- All purpose flour - 1/2 cup ( 100 gm )
- Gram flour ( Kadala mavu ) - 4 tbsp
- Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- Water - 1/2 cup ( 100 ml )
- Egg - 1 no
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable oil - 200 ml ( for frying )
Method
Step 1
Wash and clean the chicken wings.
Step 2
Take a bowl and add pepper powder, lime juice, ginger garlic paste, salt and mix well. Add chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well. Keep this for 1 hour.
Step 3
Take a bowl and add eggs and beat well with a spoon. To this, add all purpose flour, gram flour, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and salt. Then mix it nicely by adding enough water to get a thick batter with a dropping consistency.
Step 4
Dip the chicken wings in the batter one by one and coat it well.
Step 5
Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces on medium heat till golden colour or about 5 minutes. Switch off the flame.
Step 6
Remove the chicken pieces from the oil and place it on kitchen tissue to drain.
Step 7
Tasty Chicken Wings Bajji is ready.
