Chilly Paneer is a delicious & nutritious classic Indo Chinese dish. You can serve it as a starter or as a side dish with Veg Chow Mein or with any Fried Rice.

Today we will learn how to make chilli paneer following our easy chilly paneer recipe.

Ingredients

  • Paneer - 250 gm
  • Onion - 2 nos (chopped)
  • Capsicum - 1 no (chopped)
  • Green chillies - 3 nos (chopped)
  • Garlic- 3 cloves (chopped)
  • Maida - 2 tsp
  • Cornflour - 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce - 2 tsp
  • Tomato Ketchup - 2 tbsp
  • Chilli sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp
  • Vegetable oil - 1 cup
  • Ginger - 1 small piece (chopped)
  • Water - 2 tsp
  • Black Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Celery - 1 tsp (chopped)
  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Cut the paneer into cubes and keep aside.

Step 2

Take a bowl and make a paste with flour, cornflour and salt, adding a little water.

Step 3

Dip the paneer pieces into this mixture and deep fry until golden brown.

Step 4

Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions until it turns to light brown.

Step 5

Add garlic, ginger, green chillies, capsicum and saute it for a minute. Add the soya sauce, tomato ketchup, chilli sauce, vinegar, black Pepper powder, salt and paneer pieces and mix well.

Step 6

Delicious Chilly Paneer is ready. Enjoy!!!
