Coconut Banana Fritters Recipe is an easy and simple recipe. You can serve this as ramadan snack too. It is also an excellent evening snack.

Bananas are one of the fruits by which we can make variety of dishes. You can try this recipe for your kids who does’t like to eat bananas as it is. They will surely like this. Bananas are good supplement of potassium, calcium and low in salt.

Ingredients

  • Rice flour - 1/2 cup
  • Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Coconut milk - 1 cup
  • Bananas (robusta) - 5 nos
  • Sunflower oil - 3 cups (for frying)
  • Basil leaves - To garnish

Method

Step 1

Combine rice flour, sugar, coconut and sesame seeds in a large bowl.

Step 2

Add coconut milk to the mix to form a smooth batter consistency.

Step 3

Peel the bananas.

Step 4

Heat oil in a nonstick pan. Dip banana in the batter and then put in the hot oil.

Step 5

Cook for 4 minutes or until golden. Remove the bananas and drain on an absorbent paper.

Step 6

Yummy Coconut Banana Fritters is ready.

Step 7

Serve hot and decorate with chopped basil leaves.
