Goan Prawns Fry is a tasty and simple prawns dish. It needs very few ingredients which are always available in your kitchen. You can have this Prawns Fry with lunch or as side starter.
Prawns are a good source of unsaturated fat, which makes up majority of its fat content. Prawns, like other fish and shellfish, are also a good source of omega-3 fatty acids which is an essential fatty acids your body does not produce. Omega-3 fatty acids can reduce inflammation and your risk of heart disease, Cancer and Arthritis.
Prawns are rich in vitamin B12. The slightest deficiency of this vitamin can lead to various problems including extreme fatigue, anemia and even depression.
Try this delicious dish at home.
- Prawns - 250 gm
- Red chilly powder - 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/4 tsp
- Vinegar - 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves - a few
- Coconut oil - 5 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Clean and devein the prawns.
Take a bowl and add ginger garlic paste, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, vinegar and salt to make a thick paste.
Marinate the prawns with this paste and keep aside for at least 30 minutes.
Heat coconut oil in a pan and fry the marinated prawns on a low flame. Switch off the flame. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Yummy Goan Prawns Fry is ready.
