Healthy dinner recipe
Boiled chicken with boiled marrow, cauliflower and freshly grated carrots, cucumber & onion is a healthy non-veg recipe.
As the chicken is boiled in water with salt, pepper, ginger-garlic paste & coriander leaves for more than 45 minutes all the fat in chicken is drained and the chicken is well cooked by absorbing the spicy flavor of ginger, garlic, pepper and coriander.
This is a full dinner meal recipe for those who wish to diet and at the same time can enjoy the flavor of their favorite chicken also. Enjoy!!
Ingredients
- Chicken boiled in water, salt, pepper, 1/4 tbsp ginger-garlic paste and coriander leaves
- To boil vegetable:
- 1 marrow cut into thin pieces
- 1 cup cauliflower cut into pieces
- Carrot salad items:
- 1 carrot finely grated
- 1 cucumber chopped into small cubes
- 1 tomato finely chopped
- 1 onion finely chopped
- For seasoning:
- Lime juice 4 spoons
- Coriander chopped 1 tbsp (Optional)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 green Chilli finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- Dried oregano to taste
Method
Step 1
Boil chicken in water, salt, pepper, 1/4 tbsp ginger-garlic paste and coriander leaves for 45 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile boil marrow and cauliflower.
Step 3
To prepare the seasoning, mix all the seasoning items except Oregano.
Step 4
Make the carrot salad by mixing all the carrot salad ingredients.
Step 5
Add 2 to 3 spoons of prepared seasoning to carrot salad and mix well.
Step 6
Once chicken is boiled for 45 minutes, drain water and plate them.
Step 7
Plate boiled marrow, cauliflower and carrot salad.
Step 8
Pour 1 spoon of seasoning on top of marrow & cauliflower.
Step 9
Sprinkle dried oregano & serve hot.
Step 10
