Ingredients
- All purpose flour - 250 gm
- Active dry yeast - 7 gm
- Salt - 5 gm
- Sugar - 50 gm
- Unsalted butter - 15 gm (at room temperature)
- Lukewarm milk - 70 ml
- Egg - 1 ( lightly beaten)
- Water - 50 ml
Method
Step 1
Take a bowl and add sugar, dry east, water, milk, egg, salt and mix it till the sugar melts.
Step 2
Then add all purpose flour, mix it well and make a dough, by kneading for 5 to 7 minutes. Add butter to it and knead again for 3 minutes. Let it rest for 40 minutes in a warm place.
Step 3
Take the dough and with the help of rolling pin, roll it into ½ inch sheet and cut the doughnuts with doughnut cutter, transfer it to a tray, and let it rest for 10 minutes to rise.
Step 4
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the doughnuts in slow flame, till it turns brown in colour.
Step 5
