Peanuts (kappalandi) are also known as ground nuts. I often made this sweet at home as my family especially kids are very much fond of it. It is very easy to make recipe. I have also used a small amount of red matta rice which is first roasted and grinded to powder in this recipe, which when combined with peanut and jaggery tastes super delicious.

Ingredients
Dry roast peanuts in a thick bottom pan on a medium flame for 15 minutes. Put peanuts on a towel and rub them with the other end of towel. This way, you can remove the skin of the peanuts easily. Powder the peanuts in a food processor or grinder. Heat a non stick pan and roast the red matta rice to get a crispy texture. Stir it continuously. The rice will start crackling after sometime. Once you start hearing the crackling sound, take it off from the stove and let it cool completely. In a small jar of mixer or grinder, grind the roasted rice to fine powder. Keep it aside. Add the powdered jaggery in the mixer along with grated coconut and cardamom powder. Grind them properly. Mix together all the powdered items; rice powder, peanut powder, grated coconut and jaggery. Take a small amount of the mixture and roll them into small balls. Tasty Peanut Balls are ready to serve.Method
