Homemade stove top popcorn. This is a quick and high fiber low calorie snack. Ideal for both kids and elders which helps to prevent heart disease.

Ingredients
- Vegetable Oil - 2tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Dried corn seeds - 1 cup
Method
Step 1
Take a thick bottomed big pot with tight lid and heat the pot.
Step 2
Once pot is hot pour oil. Oil is needed for popcorn cooking at high smoke point.
Step 3
Add salt to oil, which will season popcorn from inside out.
Step 4
Add 2 dried Corn seed to check if the oil heated well. We can know this once the corn seed starts poping.
Step 5
Then add 1 cup corn seeds and close the lid. The corns will start popping in seconds.
Step 6
In between, give quick shake to the pot as a whole without opening the lid so that the cooked popcorn come up and the seeds go down.
Step 7
In 5 to 6 minutes the popping will stop and your healthy snack homemade stove top popcorn is ready to serve.
