Ingredients
Wash the rice with water.
Clean the medicinal plants well with water. Slightly grind the medicinal plants and squeeze out the juice from it. Heat a pressure cooker, add rice, jeerakam (ജീരകം, Cumin seeds), aashali (ആശാലി, Lepidium sativum), kurumulak (കുരുമുളക്, pepper), chukku (ചുക്ക്, dry ginger), uluva (ഉലുവ, fenugreek), juice of medicinal plants and water. Cook this for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, add thick coconut milk, salt and mix well. Cook 3 minutes more. Switch off the flame. Tasty Karkkidaka Kanji is ready.
