Ingredients
Soak the bengal gram in water for half an hour. Clean and cut the beef in to small pieces. Heat a pressure cooker. Add beef, Bengal gram, ginger-garlic paste, red chilly powder, garam masala, water and salt. Cook for 5 minutes. When the water gets evaporated fully, grind the meat mixture in a grinder till a dough-like consistency is obtained. Wash and peel off the skin of the potatoes. Cut it in to normal french fries. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Reduce the heat to medium and deep fry potato slices in batches until crisp and golden colour on both sides. Slightly oil your palms, take a small portion of beef mixture and flatten it. Put 3 or 4 fried potato pieces in the centre of the beef mixture and wrap around the potatoes and make it into oval shape. Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Dip this in the beaten egg and fry.
