Nadan Beef Ularthiyathu Recipe

Nadan Beef Ularthiyathu is a very tasty and easy recipe with beef. Meat, such as beef, is mainly composed of protein. Beef protein is highly nutritious and may promote muscle maintenance and growth. Beef is very rich in zinc, a mineral that is important for body growth and maintenance.

Beef is rich in protein, vitamins, and minerals. It is an excellent source of vitamin B12, zinc, iron and phosphorus, which contribute to optimal growth, cognitive function, red blood cell development and also prevents iron deficiency. Beef is an excellent source of iron, and may help prevent anemia when eaten regularly.

Ingredients

  • Beef - 1 kg
  • Onion - 2 nos ( sliced )
  • Ginger - 1 piece ( sliced )
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Green Chilly - 4 nos
  • Coconut Pieces - 100 gm
  • Eastern Beef Ularthu Masala - 5 tbsp
  • Curry leaves - a few
  • Coconut oil - 4 tbsp
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Clean and wash the beef with water and drain.

Step 2

Take a cooker and add beef pieces, salt, half of ginger sliced, half of garlic, few curry leaves, 2 green chilly sliced, coconut pieces and water. Mix well and cook this for 4 whistles or until the beef is cooked well. Switch off the flame.

Step 3

Heat coconut oil in a pan add sliced onion, green chilly, garlic, ginger, curry leaves and saute for 5 minutes on a low flame or till it turns golden brown colour.

Step 4

Add eastern beef ularthu masala, salt and cooked beef and mix well and roast till the beef is well coated with the masala. Switch off the flame.

Step 5

Tasty Nadan Beef Ularthiyathu is ready.
