Ingredients

  • Ripe nut meg shell ( Jathikka ) - 1 no ( chopped )
  • Grated coconut - 1 cup
  • Ginger - 1 piece ( chopped )
  • Green chillies - 2 nos
  • Shallots - 4 nos
  • Curry leaves - few
  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Clean and cut the nut meg shell into small pieces.

Step 2

Take a blender and add ripe nut meg shell, grated coconut, ginger, green chillies, shallots, curry leaves and salt to it. Blend this for 5 minutes. Do not add water to it.

Step 3

Tasty Jathikka Chammanthi is ready to be served with hot rice.
