Pudding using Red Parboiled Rice, bread & berry cream is a easy desert which can be prepared with less time and less ingredients.

The beauty of the recipe is not only the easy method of preparation but also that the ingredients are very very simple and will be available at home always.

Try this pudding recipe!

Ingredients

  • To prepare the milk cream:
  • Red Parboiled broken Rice - 5 tbsp
  • 2 cup milk
  • Vanilla essence - 1/2 tbsp
  • Sugar - 5 tbsp
  • Pinch of salt
  • To arrange the pudding layers:
  • Bread - 5 slice
  • Berry cream or any Jam of your choice - 5 tbsp
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Badam - soaked and remove skin

Method

Step 1

In a pressure cooker, mix red parboiled broken rice, milk, vanilla essence, sugar and a pinch of salt. Cook until cooker makes 3 whistle.

Step 2

Switch off and keep aside for 5 minutes. Your milk cream is ready.

Step 3

In a flat bottomed container arrange the bread pieces.

Step 4

Pour milk cream on top of the bread pieces.

Step 5

Add berry cream or jam of your choice on top.

Step 6

Decorate with badam and sprinkle sugar on top.

Step 7

Refrigerate for 1/2 an hour and enjoy the yummy pudding with red parboiled broken rice, bread & berry cream.
