Spicy Sweet Potato Fries is a yummy and healthy snack recipe. Spicy sweet potato fries, combines the sweet and savory flavor of the traditional sweet potato with spicy seasoning to bring out a delicious flavor combination that the entire family will enjoy.

Sweet potato is an edible tropical tuber with white slightly sweet flesh. Sweet potatoes contain iron. They are high in vitamin B6. Sweet potatoes are a good source of mag­nesium, which is the relaxation and anti-stress mineral.


  • Sweet potato - 2 nos
  • Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Sunflower oil - 3 cup


Step 1

Wash sweet potatoes and cut into long thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.

Step 2

Place it in ice water for about 10 minutes.

Step 3

Remove sweet potato from water and pat dry with paper towels.

Step 4

Heat a pan and add sunflower oil.

Step 5

Fry sweet potato strips for about 5 minutes, until it turns to golden brown.

Step 6

Remove from oil and allow to drain. Sprinkle red chilly powder and add salt over top.

Step 7

Tasty spicy sweet potato fries is ready.
