Boneless Chicken Tikka with Veggies in Cooking Range Oven – Healthy & Tasty Chicken Tikka Recipe
This is one of the easiest grilled chicken recipe, which I make on a lazy Thursday evenings. Do you know why?
Usually on Thursdays, last minute plan will be made to go out with friends for dinner. This is an excellent item for dinner in a park or beach. This grilled chicken tastes so great with some delicious, creamy dips. For dip, you can make healthy and tasty Moutabel (Click here to watch the Moutabel recipe). And this grilled chicken will go very well with some salads and koobos (Arabic bread).

Above all its simple to make and we don’t need to spend much time in the kitchen as this is a grilled item. In addition since this is a grilled item it’s healthy too.
Moutabel recipe using beetroot – Cookery show
Traditional Arabic Moutabel recipe using eggplant – Cookery show
- Boneless chicken - 500 gms (Cut into small cubes)
- Yogurt - 1/4 Cup
- Ginger paste - 1/2 tbsp
- Garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Cumin seed powder - 1/4 tbsp
- Salt - as per taste
- Olive oil - 10 tbsp (or enough to coat on chicken)
- Vegetables - any vegetable of your choice
Mix all ingredients together except half portion of olive oil with chicken and keep aside for 1 hour to marinate the chicken.
Spread an aluminium foil on the baking tray of cooking range and arrange the chicken pieces one by one on the tray.
Coat the vegetables with the remaining marinate of the chicken.
Pre-heat the oven for 180 degree. Place the tray with marinated chicken & vegetables inside the cooking range to cook for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes coat the chicken pieces with remaining olive oil and cook for 5 more minutes. your juicy chicken tikka with vegetables is ready to serve.
Tip 1 - For a barbeque party keep the chicken and vegetables cooked well in advance. You can just heat it up before serving. Hence you can avoid the hassle of cooking during the party. 😉 Enjoy....
Tip 2 - Do Not add more ginger - garlic paste or any other masala. Because as we are using less oil the masala will not fry and hence will taste raw. This will spoil the grill-taste!
