Christmas Jelly Slice is a delicious jelly sweet slice and it is easy to make with a buttery biscuit base, creamy filling and a bright jelly topping. Both adults and kids will love it as a sweet treat. It is really a Christmas treat that is fun to make with children.

Kids will love eating this three layered delicious dessert as it is mouth watering at first sight.

Christmas jelly slice is such a tasty and sweet dessert, usuallyย prepared during the time of Christmas.

Ingredients

  • Raspberry jelly crystals - 1 Packet
  • Boiled water - 2 Cups
  • Unsalted butter - 170 Grams
  • sweet plain biscuits - 1 Packet
  • Unflavoured gelatin - 10-12 Grams
  • Hot water - Half a cup
  • Sweetened condensed milk - 1 Can ( 395 gm )

Method

Step 1

Take a bowl add 1 packet of raspberry jelly crystals and add 2 cups of boiling water. Stir well. Place this in the fridge for about 10 minutes until cool.

Step 2

Crushed nice biscuits with a food processer. Heat a pan melt the unsalted butter in a low flame in 3 minutes. Add this melted butter into the crushed biscuits and mix very well.

Step 3

Butter a tray or baking tray. Place mixture in prepared tray and press down firmly. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Step 4

Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup hot water. Combine gelatin mixture and condensed milk in a bowl, pour this over to the biscuit base and place back in the fridge for 30 minutes until it cool and nearly set.

Step 5

After 30 minutes Pour cold jelly on top of slice and return to fridge to set for 20 minutes.

Step 6

The delicious christmas jelly slice is ready. Slice into squares using a butter knife.
