Ingredients
- 50 grams dry fish (I have used small sole fish)
- 2 Raw banana cut into small thin cubes
- 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
- 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder
- 3 Green chilli
- 5 Curry leaves
- Salt to taste
- Coconut gravy items:
- 1/2 cup grated coconut
- 5 Shallots
- 3 pinch cumin seeds
- For seasoning:
- 2 tbsp Coconut oil
- 5 Curry leaves
Method
Step 1
Cook dry fish and raw banana in water after mixing chilli powder, turmeric powder, green chilli and salt for taste.
Step 2
Meanwhile make coconut gravy by grinding grated coconut, shallots and cumin seeds.
Step 3
Once the dry fish and banana is well cooked, add coconut paste gravy to this and allow to boil for 5 minutes.
Step 4
After 5 minutes, sprinkle curry leaves and add coconut oil on top.
Step 5
Switch of the flame and serve hot with hot steamed rice.
