Fish Cutlet balls recipe is A.K.A Meen Cutlet balls – മീൻ കട്ട്ലറ്റ്. It is a spicy snack to have with a cup of hot tea. Cutlet can make with fish, vegetables, meat, egg, etc. It is used as a ‘nalumani palaharam’ or evening snack with a cup of hot tea in India especially in Kerala.

Ingredients
Clean the fish pieces with water. Heat a pan and add fish pieces with salt and 1 cup of water. Cook for 5 minutes and remove all the fish bones. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a non stick pan, sauté chopped onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves for 5 minutes. Add chilly powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder and sauté for two minutes. Add garam masala powder, chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Add cooked fish and mix well. Add mashed potatoes mix well and remove from fire. Make small balls from the mixture like a lemon size and flatten with palm. Dip it in the beaten egg and then roll in the bread crumbs. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the cutlet till golden brown. Drain the excess oil with a tissue paper. Tasty fish cutlet is ready. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.Method
