Ingredients
- Chicken - 500 Kg (cut into small pieces)
- Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
- Ginger paste - 11/2 tbsp
- Onion paste - 4 tbsp
- Garlic - 4 cloves (chopped)
- Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp
- Garam Masala - 1 tbsp
- Ghee - 4 tbsp
- Coriander Leaves - 2 stalks (chopped)
- Water - 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Ginger - 1 tsp (chopped)
Method
Step 1
Marinate the chicken pieces in the ginger paste and onion paste for half an hour.
Step 2
Heat the ghee in a pan add red chilly powder and chicken. Mix it well. Cook over a high heat until the chicken changes color. After 5 minutes lower the heat and add the ginger, coriander powder, garam masala, garlic and salt.
Step 3
Add water and allow it to boil. Cover and cook it in slow fire at least 15 minutes.
Step 4
Tasty ginger chicken is ready to be served with fried rice. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot.
