Ingredients
- Red grapes - 1 cup
- Curd - 1/2 cup
- Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
- Cumin seed - 1/4 tsp
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Green chillies - 5 nos
- Mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
- Dry red chillies - 3 nos
- Coconut oil - 3 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Curry leaves - 2 strings
- Water - 3 tsp
- Shallots - 3 nos
Method
Step 1
Grind grated coconut, green chilies, cumin seed, 1/4 mustard seed in a blender.
Step 2
Heat a pan add grapes, water and boil for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Add the coconut mixture, curd and salt. Mix well. Cook this for 4 minutes.
Step 4
Add sugar and cook for 2 more minutes. Take care not to over cook.
Step 5
For seasoning, heat coconut oil in a pan splutter mustard seed, add red chilies and curry leaves. Pour this in to the grapes. The dish is ready to serve.
