Ingredients
- Rice flour - 1 tbsp
- Coconut milk - 1 cup
- Milk - 1 cup
- Ripe Banana / Nenthrapazham - 1 no (cut into small pieces as round shape)
- Ghee - 4 tsp
- Sugar - 3 tsp
- Shallots - 3 nos (chopped)
- Cardamom powder - a pinch
- Cashew nuts - 10 nos
- Raisins - 10 nos
- Salt - a pinch
Method
Step 1
Heat 3 tsp ghee in a non stick pan and add chopped shallots and fry for 3 minutes. To this add the coconut milk and rice flour and stir continuously for 5 minutes.
Step 2
After 5 minutes add banana pieces, milk, sugar and stir well for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add cardamon powder, salt and mix well. Tasty kaai curry is ready.
Step 4
Heat 1 tsp of ghee in a pan and fry cashew nuts and raisins.
Step 5
Decorate the kaai curry with fried cashew nuts and raisins.
Step 6
Serve warm or refrigerated Kaai Curry / Pal vazhakka. Enjoy!!!
