- Kadachakka slices - 6 nos
- Gram flour ( Kadala mavu ) - 200 gm
- Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Hing ( Asafoetida powder ) - 1/4 tsp
- Water - 100 ml
- Coconut oil - 200 ml ( for frying )
- Salt to taste
Peel the skin of kadachakka and cut it into thin slices.
Take a bowl and add gram flour, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida powder, salt and mix it well.
Add water into it and make a thick batter.
Heat coconut oil in a pan.
Dip each kada chakka slices in this batter and shallow fry on a medium heat till golden colour.
Tasty Kadachakka Bajji is ready.
Serve hot with tomato sauce.
