Macaroni Payasam / മക്രോണി പായസം / Pasta Payasam is very yummy & easy to prepare payasam recipe.

Macaroni is a variety of dry pasta made with durum wheat. Macaroni is a versatile type of pasta, that has been used to make several types of soups, stews and dishes.

Do try this quick & easy Macaroni Payasam recipe for onam!

Ingredients

  • Macaroni - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 1/4 cup
  • Milk - 3 cups
  • Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Ghee - 2 tsp
  • Cashew nuts - 10 nos
  • Rose water - 1 tbsp
  • Raisins - 10 nos

Method

Step 1

Cook the macaroni in boiling water and drain the excess water.

Step 2

Boil milk in a pan and add sugar and stir well.

Step 3

Add cooked macaroni and boil for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Add the condensed milk and stir well.

Step 5

Add rose water, cardamom powder and cook for couple of minutes. Turn off the flame.

Step 6

Heat ghee and fry cashews and raisins.

Step 7

Garnish the Payasam with roasted cashew nuts and raisins.

Step 8

Tasty Macaroni Payasam / Pasta Payasam is ready. Enjoy!!!
