Ingredients
- Macaroni - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
- Milk - 3 cups
- Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
- Ghee - 2 tsp
- Cashew nuts - 10 nos
- Rose water - 1 tbsp
- Raisins - 10 nos
Method
Step 1
Cook the macaroni in boiling water and drain the excess water.
Step 2
Boil milk in a pan and add sugar and stir well.
Step 3
Add cooked macaroni and boil for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add the condensed milk and stir well.
Step 5
Add rose water, cardamom powder and cook for couple of minutes. Turn off the flame.
Step 6
Heat ghee and fry cashews and raisins.
Step 7
Garnish the Payasam with roasted cashew nuts and raisins.
Step 8
