Masala Bread Toast is a quick and easy breakfast recipe, which can also be served as a tea-time snack. Bread is dipped in masala egg batter and fried.

French toast means bread dipped in a mixture of beaten egg and milk and fried on both sides. French toast is a world popular breakfast. Here the slices of egg-coated bread are fried on both sides until they are browned and cooked through.

Ingredients

  • Bread - 4 slices
  • Eggs - 2 nos
  • Gram flour - 1 tbsp
  • Milk - 50 ml
  • Onion - 1 no small ( chopped )
  • Green chilly - 3 nos ( chopped )
  • Ginger - 1 small piece ( chopped )
  • Coriander leaves - 1 tsp ( chopped )
  • Mint leaves - 1 tsp ( chopped )
  • Vegetable oil - 100 ml

Method

Step 1

Remove the brown sides of the bread slices and cut it diagonally.

Step 2

Take a bowl, add eggs and beat with a spoon. Add milk and gram flour into it and mix well.

Step 3

Add chopped onion, chopped green chilly, ginger, mint leaves and coriander leaves into it and mix well.

Step 4

Take one bread slice and dip it in the mixture, turn to other side and let the slice get coated with mixture on both sides.

Step 5

Heat vegetable oil in a pan.

Step 6

Transfer bread slices into the oil and fry the bread pieces.

Step 7

Drain the excess oil with a tissue paper.

Step 8

Tasty Masala Bread Toast is ready.
