Ingredients
- Bread Slices - 4 nos
- Egg - 1 no
- Milk - 1/3 cup
- Fresh Orange Juice - 5 tbsp
- Butter - 3 tbsp
- Sugar - 4 tbsp
- Orange Zest - 1 orange
Method
Step 1
In a small bowl, whisk together egg, sugar, milk, orange juice and orange zest. Pour it into a plate.
Step 2
Soak each slice of bread in milk mixture for 30 seconds per side.
Step 3
Heat a pan and melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Once melted, fry the soaked slices for 2 minutes per side, until golden colour. Melt another tablespoon of butter after frying 2 slices. Switch off the flame.
Step 4
Yummy Orange French Toast is ready.
Step 5
Serve warm, sprinkled with sugar.
