Ingredients
Clean and cut the crab in to medium size pieces. Grind shallots, ginger garlic paste, red chilly powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and vinegar in to a fine paste. Heat coconut oil in a pan then saute the onion, chopped green chillies and curry leaves till it becomes golden brown.
Add the ground paste and saute on a medium flame around 5 minutes. Add crab pieces, gambooge, salt and 2 cup of water then mix well.
Close the pan with a lid and let it cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. Once almost dry, sprinkle 1/4 tsp garam masala powder, curry leaves and 2tsp of coconut oil on the top. Close the pan and switch off the flame. Keep aside at least 10 minutes before serving. Tasty Roasted Crab is ready.Method
