Ingredients
- Prawns - 10 nos
- Garlic - 5 nos ( minced )
- Ginger - 1 piece ( sliced thinly )
- Red chilly - 3 nos ( sliced thinly )
- Tomato ketchup - 5 tbsp
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Soy sauce - 1 tsp
- Vinegar - 1/2 tsp
- Vegetable oil - 5 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method
Step 1
Clean and devein the prawns.
Step 2
Marinate the prawns with salt and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Heat 3 tbsp of vegetable oil in a pan and shallow fry the prawns.
Step 4
In a small bowl, add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, sugar and mix well.
Step 5
In a pan, heat 2 tbsp of oil and add garlic, ginger, red chilly and cook for 3 minutes. Now, pour prepared sauce into it and bring to boil.
Step 6
Add fried prawns into it and stir well to coat evenly and cook for 5 minutes on a low flame. Switch off the flame.
Step 7
Tasty Saucy Prawns is ready.
