Tender coconut pudding recipe
I am sharing a wonderful dessert recipe with you all. This dessert/pudding is made with tender coconut pulp along with milk, sugar and condensed milk to create the perfect taste. The tender coconut gives the pudding a very special taste and a delicate constituency.
Ingredients
- Tender coconut pulp and water - 2 nos
- Sugar - 1 cup
- China grass - 10 gm or 1/4 cup
- Milk - 1 cup
- Water - 3/4 cup
- Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
Method
Step 1
Blend together tender coconut water and the coconut pulp in a blender.
Step 2
Soak china grass in 3/4 cup of water and stir in low flame till it is completely dissolved.
Step 3
Heat a pan add milk, condensed milk, sugar and stir well.
Step 4
Strain the melted china grass and add it to the milk, condensed milk and sugar mixture.
Step 5
The china grass and the milk should be of the same temperature else the milk will curdle. Pour this to a flat glass dish. Add the blended coconut pulp to the milk mixture and stir well.
Step 6
Allow this to cool down for 15 minutes and then refrigerate until it sets or 2 hours. Decorate with strawberries. The tasty tender coconut pudding is ready to be served.
