Banana Cutlet Recipe – Sweet Cutlet Recipe – ഏത്തപ്പഴം കട്ലറ്റ്
Banana Cutlet is a variety sweet cutlet. Unlike the vegetable or non-veg cutlets, this cutlet is sweet in taste. Ripe plantains are very rich in fiber and are perfect for kids. This is a quick, easy and delicious evening snack.
A ripe banana contains a high concentration of dietary fiber, vitamin C, potassium, vitamin B-6 and antioxidant compounds. Within their total fiber content, bananas also contain pectins. Banana is a fascinating fruit in terms of their carbohydrate content.

Ingredients
- Wheat flour - 1 cup ( 200 gm )
- Maida - 2 tbsp
- Jaggery - 50 gm ( grated )
- Ripe banana - 3 nos
- Coconut oil - 1 cup
- Salt - a pinch
Method
Step 1
Using a steamer, cook the banana for 5 minutes on a medium flame. Take out the banana and let it cool. Remove the black seeds inside the banana. Then mash it with a fork or a spoon.
Step 2
Take a bowl and add cooked banana, maida, wheat flour, jaggery and salt. Mix it well with hand and make a dough.
Step 3
Make small balls with the mixture and roll into desired shapes.
Step 4
Heat coconut oil in a pan and deep fry each cutlet on medium flame until golden brown colour.
Step 5
Drain the excess oil with a tissue paper.
Step 6
Yummy Banana Cutlet is ready.
