Ingredients
Wash and peel off the outer skin of the beetroot and grate it finely. Grind the grated beetroot with 1/2 cup of milk to a smooth paste. Heat 3 tsp ghee in a pan and roast the cashew nuts . Set it aside. In the same pan add the beetroot puree and saute for 5 minutes. Add milk and sugar. Gently bring to boil on a low flame and stir well until sugar has fully dissolved. Add the cardamom powder and cashew nuts to it. Switch off the flame. Tasty Beetroot Payasam is ready. Serve hot or chilled.Method
