As per Wikipedia.com, Potato is the world’s fourth-largest food crop, following rice, wheat and maize. In terms of nutrition, Potato is best known for its carbohydrate contentย (approximately 26 grams in a medium potato). The predominant form of this carbohydrate is starch.

Ingredients

  • 1 big Potato
  • Salt to taste
  • 5 tbsp butter

Method

Step 1

Peel the skin and boil the full potato.

Step 2

Once cooked, slice the potato into round shapes of 1 inch size.

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan and melt butter.

Step 4

Fry both sides of potato in this butter under low flame.

Step 5

Serve hot butter fried potato with sausage and onion.
