Pomegranate Salad is a simple, yet delicious and nutritious refreshing salad made with pomegranate seeds. Pomegranate is a popular fruit to be eaten fresh or cooked in jellies, jams, desserts and sauces.
In this fruit salad, I have added Pomegranate, Guava, Apple and Pineapple. Each fruit has it’s own health benefits. This recipe is colorful and has a very festive look, so I like to serve it at party or special occasions.
A fruit salad is a dish that consists of different types of fruit. The nutritional content of a fruit salad is highly dependent upon the amount of syrup it contains. Fresh fruit salad can expand the variety based on your food choice. Fresh fruit salad is especially useful for increasing your intake if you do not like alternatives such as salads, cooked vegetables or single kinds of fruit by themselves.
With regards to Pomegranate’s beneficial values, this popular fruit has plenty of antioxidants which help to decelerate the ageing process and to give you smooth skin without wrinkles. Pomegranate’s also prevent you from heart diseases.
Compounds found only in pomegranates called punicalagins are shown to benefit the heart and blood vessels. Punicalagins are the major component responsible for pomegranate’s antioxidant and health benefits. They not only lower cholesterol, but also lower blood pressure and increase the speed at which heart blockages (atherosclerosis) melt away.

Ingredients
- Pomegranate seeds - 1 cup
- Guava - 1 (cut into pieces)
- Apple - 1 (cut into pieces)
- Pineapple - half (cut into pieces)
- Mint leaves - a few
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp
- Grapes - 10 nos
Method
Step 1
Clean and cut the fruits.Take a plate arrange pineapple, apple, guava, pomegranate seeds and grapes.
Step 2
Refrigerate this for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Take the fruits out. Sprinkle sugar, lemon juice and mint leaves.
Step 4
Delicious healthy salad is ready to be served. Enjoy!!!
