All Rounder Beans Curry Recipe – Beans Paallu Curry
I did a small experiment by replacing Ladies finger with long green beans in our traditional kerala paal curry! It was successful and moreover, it came out really really tasty.
It’s a good combination for steamed matta rice as well as for appam, chapathi and puttu.
Are you all curious to know why its called All Rounder Beans Curry?
All Rounder Beans Curry was off course made for a Saturday lunch. Little bit of the curry was left over. So I kept it in fridge and we had to rush for my friend’s kid’s birthday party. We got home late after the party and slept soon as next day (We are in the middle east and here Sunday is the first working day) the workaholic week begins…
Slept with a heavy mind thinking that no curry made for next day breakfast or to send to school for my daughter. I became little late to wake up and so entered the kitchen with a heavy heart.
I fried frozen chapathi and send the beans curry to my daughter. For breakfast I made appam with beans curry. In a hurry we all grabbed and went.
As usual at night, we all gathered back on dinner table and all asked “WHERE IS THE BEANS CURRY”???? It was too good!!!
So now it’s called as “ALL ROUNDER BEANS CURRY” by us! ๐
