Sago seed or Sabudana pudding is a very tasty and healthy sweet recipe after a heavy meal. You can add fresh fruit toppings to decorate and nourish the pudding.

You have to note that the sago seeds have to be soaked in water overnight to make the pudding.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sago seeds soaked overnight.
  • 3 cup full cream milk (add more to adjust consistency as per your choice)
  • 5 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar (add more as per taste)
  • 1/2 tbsp Vanilla essence
  • Fresh Mango pieces cut & chilled after adding 1 tbsp sugar.

Method

Step 1

Cook the soaked Sago seed in milk.

Step 2

Once cooked, add sugar and vanilla essence. Stir well to mix the ingredients and switch of flame.

Step 3

Allow to cool & refrigerate the sago pudding.

Step 4

After 3 hours, serve pudding in a bowl and garnish with fresh mango pieces. Serve chilled! It's yummy.
