Strawberry Custard with Fruits – Fruit Salad with Custard Recipe
Strawberry Custard with Fruits is a quick, simple and tasty fruit custard recipe. It is a delicious dessert with the creamy texture of the custard and crunchy fruits in between. Fruit custard is one of the simple recipes to prepare.
Fruit are important sources of many vitamins and minerals including potassium, fiber, vitamin C and folate (folic acid). Tryout this healthy and yummy fruit salad with custard at your home and enjoy with family.
- Milk - 2 1/4 cups
- Strawberry Custard Powder - 2 1/2 tsp
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Apple - 1/4 cup ( chopped )
- Banana - 1/4 cup ( chopped )
- Pappaya - 1/4 cup ( chopped )
- Pineapple - 1/4 cup ( chopped )
- Orange - 1 cup ( chopped )
- Guava - 1/4 cup ( chopped )
- Pomegranate Seeds - 1/4 Cup
- Cashew Nuts - 2 tsp ( chopped )
- Raisins - 2 tsp ( chopped )
- Rose Essence - 2 drops
Take a bowl and add 1/4 cup of milk, custard powder and mix it to form a smooth paste with no lumps. Keep it aside.
Heat 2 cups of milk in a non stick pan. Add sugar into it and keep on medium heat until it becomes hot.
Then lower the heat and slowly add the prepared custard paste to it by stirring continuously until the milk mixture turns thick. Remove it from fire and add 2 drops of rose essence and keep it aside. Let the custard cool completely ( you can refrigerate the custard ).
In a large bowl, add all the chopped fruits, cashew nuts, raisins and add the custard mixture into this and mix well to coat the fruits.
Take a glass and add custard fruit mix and again pour the custard over chopped fruits. Keep it in refrigerator for half an hour.
Tasty Strawberry Custard with Fruits is ready.
